This post is sponsored by Cuties but all thoughts are my own! On that note, we partnered with Cuties this winter to bring Cuties along on our adventure and I am so excited to share them with you today! For us winter is a time when we are on the go, out and about, spending time with others. We tend to spend a lot of time outside, together, creating memories and just being a family, SO it made sense to bring along a snack that worked great not just for the tinies but for us as well. We are pretty low maintenance people so having something we could throw in the car while walking out the door was important too ESPECIALLY because it is ski season which means we are sporadically throwing everything into the car and heading up to the mountains anytime it snows because I mean how could we possibly not?!
This past weekend we went and stayed up in Frisco and I brought a bag of Cuties along. Which actually worked out really well because Jessamyn is constantly looking for a snack and Cuties happen to be easy for her to peel, are seed free, and super sweet... so basically the perfect toddler snack. I love them too because they are about as low maintenance as you can get and super delicious. I actually accidentally left the bag in the car overnight and I have to say slightly frozen Cuties are pretty awesome... like it might be my new favorite snack. Also they make a great addition to a post skiing warm beverage such as hot chocolate which there is nothing better than sitting around together after a day out in the cold drinking hot chocolate and talking about anything and everything and just enjoying being together. Also I may have accidentally convinced Jesammyn you have to have hot chocolate after skiing so yeah adding Cuties into the mix was kind of a given!
Cutie Hot Chocolate -
1 ounce hot chocolate mix ( you could make your own too if you are feeling ambitious!)
1 cup almond milk (or any kind of milk of your choosing)
1/4 cup cutie juice
a pinch of cinnamon
And about a million marshmallows... (totally optional but if you couldn't tell by the photo I always include them)
- Heat milk to desired temperature (I actually don't like my hot chocolate super hot... I know thats weird), Mix in hot chocolate mix, add cutie juice, and then top with cinnamon and/or marshmallows.
Then sit around a fire or cozy up on a couch with friends and spend the rest of the night dreaming, laughing, and just enjoying being together because seriously that is everything.
ps. what is your favorite ingredient to add to hot chocolate? I am seriously feeling the citrus cinnamon thing right now but would love to hear other ways to drink it!
So basically all this to say whether we are out skiing, curled up by a fire, or just hanging out at home there is a really good chance that somewhere nearby there will be a bag of Cuties. SO I want to know what are your favorite Cutie recipes and/or what would you suggest adding them to? Jessamyn is pretty obsessed right now so there is a good chance we will be eating a lot of them this winter!
