Diapers!!! It is something you don't think about... well until you have to. There are so many kinds diapers so I should preface this with the truth that I honestly am not an expert on diapering, I haven't tried them all, I have literally never cloth diapered (and have so much respect for anyone who does), BUT I have been using Bambo Nature for almost my entire "diapering career" and want to share that with you today.
When I was pregnant with Jessamyn I was convinced I would do everything naturally... down to even diapers and especially wipes. Initially this looked like trying out a lot of different things (it was kind of overwhelming) until we stumbled on Bambo Nature which we have used every since. So when we found out we were pregnant with Ophelia I knew we would just continue with that choice.
Bambo Nature literally has everything you need for diapering... from the actual diaper, to wipes, and diaper balm... oh yeah and baby wash because seriously sometimes it is just easier to wash the whole baby than to try and clean up the mess (and sadly I am not even talking about a blow out). The best part though of all of this is that Bambo Nature is eco friendly and safe they actually have a commitment on their website promising to pursue the highest standards possible and continue to be the eco friendly, safe, and gentle choice for all your diapering needs.
Okay though but beyond all that lets talk actual use because at the end of the day what it really all comes down to is leaks, blow outs, and rashes. (Or at least those are the important factors in my opinion). In all of those areas Bambo Nature meets or exceeds my expectations. Jessamyn is now in a size 5 diaper and Ophelia is in size 1... neither one of them has experienced a blow out using these diapers... obviously I can't guarantee that but I can say that we have used other diapers in the past and I have car seat horror stories from leaking diapers and just all around diaper fails. So when I say I love Bambo Nature I am not kidding and bringing multiple stories of diapering mishaps with me! Oh and as for diaper rash we have never had one.. ever.. which may just be luck or may be from using safe and gentle diapers.
I should add that we do work with Bambo Nature, this post is sponsored but we have been working with them for almost two years now and these thoughts are completely my own.
I think my favorite thing though about all of this is that I know I am making a safe choice for my kids which at the end of the day is what we are all just trying to do. I love that these products work but more than that I really love aligning myself with a company that is doing good and that is safe for my little ones. If you have any product recommendations or questions about diapering please leave them below!
ps... thought I would share a little diaper horror story Ben text me from work today (yes today) to say that one of the girls probably had a poopy diaper because he found poop on his pants while driving to work and the last thing he had done was hug them goodbye... so yeah. If you have a diaper horror story I guess share below there is no shame here!
