"When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”

These are our first photos as a family of four and I am completely in love... basically if Jordan of Jordan Brooke Photography suggests you drive into the mountains to a lake that is only open part of the year... after rescheduling due to a crazy snow storm... you say YES every single time. This photo shoot was absolutely magical in every single way Jordan is amazing, talented, and I could not be happier with how these photos came out. So essentially what I am saying is if you are in Colorado.. or really anywhere you should probably look her up because she is good and these are everything.
